“The matter concerning Mr. Assange

Julian Assange has been detained in his absence charged with rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion. Mr Assange had appealed the detention decision issued by Svea Court of Appeal.

Today the Supreme Court has taken a decision not to grant Julian Assange leave to appeal. If the Supreme Court is to hear an appeal, leave to appeal must first be granted. Leave to appeal is only granted if the case is assessed as being very important to the application of the law or if other extraordinary reasons apply.

The arrest warrant is based on the detention decision that has now been examined by all three legal instances. The additional information requested by the British Police concerns the penalties for the other crimes, in addition to rape, that Julian Assange was arrested for. Hmm? That is the strangest of official statements, is it not, for if Julian Assange’s circumstances are not considered “extraordinary reasons”, I’d like to know what is.

It would appear that the case is being denied Due Lawful Process. Why is that?

I disagree and would posit that they are far too much alike each other at the creative end of the broadband spectrum to be any different. Indeed it is the malign coder who is trailing security services and their researchers along as they reverse engineer and analyse code for Core Source Driver, which is surely a skillset security researchers require to Identify Accurately and do Battle with Driver. Anything else is Wasted Effort and apparently a Very Lucrative Industry for Zero Guarantee of Future Protection.
