I suppose we can both agree, slappymcgroundout, that to play by the rules has you following a lead from the rear rather than leading a front with a following. When the rules suck and you create ill will, and invariably then always smarter enemies too, removing the rules dictates that a new approach is required with ideally, intelligence providing the novel route/root/base.

Is not media just a phishing operation/metadatamining exercise nowadays? Really just hacking into third party intelligence systems to discover what the plans are for the future based upon a person’s past actions/shared thoughts, although of course, at different levels dependent upon one’s needs to feed, with some of them being extremely sophisticated and intelligently designed campaigns which have reverse engineered the process somewhat, and have a groomed media presenting information and intelligence specially crafted for them to “discover” and present as a scoop and/or news.

Then is it just IT creating with AI, Future Virtual Product Placement for Reality Scenarios. And just like everything else, so easily done whenever one knows how.

However, what may make it unlike anything else and so very different is whenever one also know the why, for to know them both is an Immaculate Blessing.

That the Internet has changed things out of all recognition in Command and Control, and wrested power and control from out of Establishment hands, hearts and minds is surely not in any doubt, DB, and it is a meme which you yourselves do constantly recognise and would appear to quite rightly champion. Quite so, Darryl. It is only natural. I think the point that George Sign made very clearly on 2/8/2011 3:22:33 AM was that the agenda is somewhat sterile and appears stalled, and may even be one of those elite honey traps phishing for smart comment and even constructive dissent which they can hope to ignore or use, but would then in any case, be advised to be on their guard against, which of course, as George Sign pointed out, only works for so long, if there is no dialogue to exercise and sharpen the mind and carry the debate on to higher levels. Although that is only something which GS can confirm or deny or modify to give further insight.

Why would a supposedly strong economic nation like Germany want to be lumbered with a weak self serving institution like the EU, which appears to be a collapsing money pit administered by useless bureaucrats with no strong ties to any nation. Err ….. getting back to the issue, or non-issue of fiat currency as an energiser for ideas that invent industry and business/activities to stop smarter animals vegetating and going feral and cannibal/warlike, the secret of success for the system would appear to be ensure that the supply is given to those who can spend it freely to generate progress and worth with the sharing and management of novel intelligent ideas which create energetic currency flow, whilst the worst thing that one can do, is to give it to bankers to secure in their vaults. That is the problem which is constantly and consistently being avoided/not being aired and changed.

I would like to posit that ve
ry few are intellectually equipped to be anywhere near qualified or effective in being able to thwart a smart cyber attack/assault/incursion/experience/call it what you will, and as for rules of engagement, well ……. good manners and the thought that there might be children reading El Reg prevents me from expressing an adult opinion on that admission of defeat even before any real virtual battles have begun. Indeed, such is the nature of the virtual theatre of operations, that all meaningful engagements are won before they are even suspected and then acknowledged as being of great concern and an attack vector being exploited. There will though be other lesser skirmishes by others into rogue mercenary campaigns of a selfish indulgent nature which can be easily blocked and countered, with prosecution and/or persecution of the perpetrators being a most popular attraction and distraction for news and views/media.
