It certainly eliminates serial capital offences, and that will always make crime less prevalent. And state-mandated capital punishment for those who call for war and terrorism, which is sure capital crime with a capital CC, would certainly deter all but the most deserving of self-serving and self-righteous, deluded idiots with an agenda to deliver death and destruction for perverse personal profit and financial gain.

In fact, it could very well be exactly what is needed to ensure that peace and order rule in the future rather than chaos and mayhem as in the present.
