These client-oriented financial services, which include underwriting, market making, and traditional asset management services, are important to the U.S. financial markets and the participants in those markets, and the Agencies have endeavored to develop a proposed rule that does not unduly constrain banking entities in their efforts to safely provide such services. At the same time, providing appropriate latitude to banking entities to provide such client-oriented services need not and should not conflict with clear, robust, and effective implementation of the statute’s prohibitions and restrictions. Given these complexities, the Agencies request comment on the potential impacts the proposed approach may have on banking entities and the businesses in which they engage. Unlike Russian Magnets, the Chinese “capitalists” have not made a big swath since they know such swagger can be a problem more than an asset, given their quiet life styles. Peking is hoping that by acting the broker, government to government, the OC will continue to co-operate with them as trade issues become more difficult and currency problems mount in this ongoing euro crisis. Any dollar infusion from Peking, in this medley in Europe, will depend on the OC’s tending ther dollar reserves since Peking has few of them in hand… the OCs have taken them back to their free citadels! What is happening is that Peking is bargaining with the OCs and that should tell you Peking is not in control!

The Europeans are more astute than Washington! They have a trading advantage since they know all about the OC. These roving capitalists have been the ace in the hole for Great Britian, France, Italy and most of South America in so many nearmisses in the last two centuries that it would take a library to hold the data! For illustration, think about why Walmart, which achieved its initial success by trading only “made in USA” goods, today trades so much “made in China” ones. The main problem appears to be that fiat currency doesn’t do what it is supposed to do, because of systems and spoilers that collect and deposit cash/wealth/money/credit/debts into systems and vaults for storage against use, denying currency flow its power to create anything with the simple exchange of its perceived value/magic worth.
