Quite so, Wayne, that is one way of doing it, and I don’t question the result you explain.
However, whenever you have anything of significant note, is the better plan to present it to just the right person, who can do with it as they will, for you will have arrange with just that one person, that which you would have decided yourself is needed and desired and can be easily fed for that which is provided.

Perhaps a ploy, Sternum, to stave off the madness that guarantees one passage through ITs delights? And thus is it a counter-productive move, but perfectly understandable. It does, though, leave one on the sidelines as a spectator to what the future brings, rather than encouraging one to be as a creator in it with the sure help of others and that makes it a most odd game to be playing with oneself.

I had reason to write this today elsewhere ……. So are we really saying that the privatisation of BT is what is preventing the widespread roll out of superfast broadband?
Or do they just want a monopoly?
Maybe this might give people pause to think about the fact that nationalised national services are better than privatised ones….
(I will now go and wait for my crappy train, with massive prices because although they are privatised there is no actual competition…)

One does wonder why the Government are proposing to sell back into the private sector, the banks that the public bought in the recent meltdown, and especially so if they are making millions and/or billions in profit again.
What is the sound reasoning behind it? Do they not work for us or is it that they work just for themselves?
