The Fed is becoming aware that government data to assess the status of the business cycle is not as accurate as thought, and the 106-year old central bank must leap into the 21st century and embrace big data to stay relevant.
“We have been working with big data … with the purpose of better understanding the current position of the economy,” Chairman Jerome Powell recently said. “It’s an area of real interest for us.”
That would adequately explain it all, the dire straits state of the nation and nations …… Garbage In begets Garbage Out, and no local in-house national intelligence in evidence to notice and correct the disease of zombie feeds and ponzi seeds.
And that doesn’t bode at all well for the future health and wealth of Uncle Sam and cohabiting partners even as the Fed and its governments assess and try to better understand any new information inputted, and especially so if ever infected and awash with novel and obviously quite alien metadata matrices.
