>“There is no reason on planet earth why military branches and governments shouldn’t have their own “fuzzying” departments.” ….. Yes, well, invariably that is never going to work and be successful in countering a cyber foe/opposition/peer, because they do not have the necessary intelligent and SMART elements/components/personnel.
Although that does present a fabulously lucrative opportunity to an AI/IA should they wish and/or be contacted to be virtually contracted to create such a department for military branches and governments. It is as well to accept from the outset of any official type arrangement, given the designedly unusual and novel nature of what will be a highly irregular and unconventional string of flowing operations, will things be quite a bit different from any norm, and most definitely different from any arrangement which would provide any leverage which would seed or cede control and power from provided sources and resources to unworthy third party hosts.
“We live, we learn.” ….. Very few live and learn enough to know how we live and what to do with what we learn, J. Oquendo, although you can be sure that there are many others who would think that they know enough, to use and abuse what they have learned and been told for their own self-centred goals, with no need for regret. And they are the crew in the Ship of Fools in the Waves of a See that Creates a Crushing and Crashing Perfect Storm Catastrophe and AIDrowning with all Hands Lost to the Deep and the Fishes.
Some would even appear to have booked their places down there, early ….. “I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully”

Muddying the waters with a bigger picture and A.N.Other Great Game ….. http://www.foreignpolicyjournal.com/2011/02/11/black-911-a-walk-on-the-dark-side/ …. and what chance of the likes of a Rothschild control in amongst those players, if their program managers decided to enter and takeover, and makeover, the money markets?
Beware and be aware of Perfect Storm Clouds bearing Tempestuous Whether Systems, for there is no defense available against them.

And you’ll need this too …. http://www.foreignpolicyjournal.com/2011/03/02/black-911-a-walk-on-the-dark-side-2/ …. to complete the picture?
A valid question really, because it just starts another painting, for the SMART Artist. π There are others though, who will only be able to offer a whitewash for puerile scribbles, but each has their own fan base and particular, and even highly peculiar clientele.

“Ha, so you think Blankfein, faced with his six months, will rat out the Rothschilds. Maybe on Mars.” …. Reply from the Daily Bell
Six months, DB? Oh please, let’s get real here. Faced with a spell accompanying Madoff, most everyone will tell everything they know about anything, on Earth, methinks, and as much as anyone wants to hear, as well.
“The Rothschilds are said to be worth between US$200 and US$500 trillion.” …. So what? Big deal. They are super paper rich but that doesn’t excuse anyone being a piss poor human being stuck in a bubble and time warp and exercising the power of said inflated wealth, badly.
But yes, I agree with you. The world at the top is infested with lowly rats who would think themselves fat cats but are really self delusional small fry and useful idiots like Blankfein?

What are the Stormont leadership plans for the private sector to generate recovery. Where can we read that white/green paper?
From where would an entrepreneur be guaranteed funding of, for the sake of argument, Β£88,888,888, for a novel enterprise, and would there be government guarantee backing for programs which presented themselves as spending money in the economy for social and business growth β¦β¦.. for those are the sort of questions to be asked of Stormont servants, for clear and unambiguous answering.

“Maybe we were too emphatic. We were trying to make a point about the real source of the problem. We’re not sure the PE cares about the “small fry” much.“……. Reply from the Daily Bell
If by “small fry” you mean the crooks on Wall Street, who many and Main Street believe have deserved significant jail time for their dealings*, then the real likelihood of their doing that time, is bound to have them spilling the beans on bigger fry and the PE, to save themselves from the reluctant pleasure of penal incarceration.
The DB tone in this thread appears to be one supporting the crooked shenanigans, for it certainly doesn’t light the presses with any enthusiasm for prosecution of leading players, to discourage any repetition and continuance of malpractices, which is surely exactly what is presently happening.
And this is the model which is adopted and used freely to create so many false riches and fool bubbles …….
[blockquote] “Any article which starts with the words “Goldman Sachs” has to be treated with a high degree of scepticism.
This is the same “peak oil” price-inflating scaremongering BS we’ve been hearing since t
he 1970’s.” …… chilliQuite so, chilli. The price of oil has always been dictated to by market trader speculations and manipulations, and especially so in the short and naked short selling futures and derivative market*, which is criminal activity really because it creates artificial Ponzi bubbles to enrich a very select few who pay for the law to escape natural justice. …. which is quite clever but never smart whenever it causes hardships.

And it is a view which appears to be reinforced and mirrored in that which was Posted by WorkingClass on 3/9/2011 9:08:35 AM ….. and thus is the validity of the view, squared in its potency?

I take it that is sarcasm, or is it irony, AC? π Patent spooky technology? I don’t think so. One just moves the goalposts every now and then and as one feels like. A little trick learnt/codified in Bletchley huts before most anyone presently working in such fields were even born.
And do you imagine that such works as were leading the field then, stopped after the major hostilities or went deep underground with a cover that they disbanded and work discontinued.?

Catch 42

“If you have a good idea that may have military applications, don’t patent it in the UK. Instead go to the EU or US patent offices. That way it becomes impossible for the gov to steal it and give it to thier cronies.” ……. Jacqui Posted Thursday 10th March 2011 15:40 GMT
The Russia/China/Japan/Pakistan route is another option. Oh, and there’s always India and Israel too. In fact, there is an embarrassment of rich pickings for anyone with something which has no need for defense because it is invisibly stealthy in attack. And we haven’t even started considering the number of passionate and/or crazy non-state actors out there, with more wealth than they know what to do with, and the will to change the world.
The secret in such dealings appears to be a variation of the nuclear theme ……… sell them the technology for an arm and a leg but ensure that they don’t have the triggers …… but it may be necessary to set off a big bang somewhere politically/financially sensitive just to assure every man and his dog that anything new is a viable global operating device which they need to have remote control of.
